This is inaccurate information.  MSSE does indeed update its definitions.  If 
yours is not doing so check your settings.Now, if you override Windows Update's 
automatic updates your MSSE definitions may need to be updated manually.  MS 
recommends automatic updates so if you do this MSSE will update itself.

  I use MSE all the time on an XP machine. I have had no accessibility issues 
with it. Just no that it does not update the deffinitions automatically and you 
will need to go and get those yorself from the windows update website. Also, if 
you have external hard drives you want MSE to ignore, you will have to set that 
up as well in the MSE options.
