Actually, even though I got that message, yesterday my copy of Window-Eyes did not stop after 30 minutes, but kept running as normal. This morning, Ididn't get the message at all. -----Original Message----- From: Carol and Roger

My brother received the same error yesterday evening. All he did was
log into his Windows xp account. I suggested to him that possibly GW
Micro's site might have been temporarily down, as I had not received any
messages from the list for several hours. BTW, my copy is working
normally, but I have not started WE for a few days. My computer has
been running since about Friday. It is my guess that now the list is
back up, the problem is possibly resolved.

I started to get the same message today about WE being an evaluation copy. This started to happen after installing Free Download Manager but don't know if this is the cause. Maybe it has been triggered by the date seing at least two of us started on the same date.

Anyway, whatever the cause, it would be great to get rid of it so if anyone has some ideas, please send them to this list.

 Neville.

After I ran CHKDSK on my computer, Window-Eyes now starts indicating it
is an evaluation copy. Why? What must I do to fix this?
