As Dianne mentioned, this is probably the progress indicator app. Go to the Apps menu in the WE control panel, find the progress indicator app, open up its menu and choose the "options" choice to configure it. I don't hear these beeps with internet explorer, so I'm guessing g you're using some other browser?
