The solution to your issue is
open the trash folder in a new tab.
So, for example I have control 1 is my gmail inbox
control 2 is my hotmail inbox
control 3 is my trash for gmail
and control 4 is trash for hotmail.

Ever since upgrading to 8.0 and now on 8.2 when I press enter on a
message to open it the message starts reading on the second line of
the message. If I up arrow to the top and read line by line it
works fine. Is there a setting that I am missing to read all lines?
