Hi Bryan,

I'm not quite following you. I need only to press Control-W to close the message and then press shift-tab to get back to the list of folders. Sorry if I sound like a pooch with a bone. Smile.

ttyl,

Rod

I'm talking about once you're in a message in, say Deleted Items. It's cumbersome to get back to the folder list. The thing I did like about Thunderbird versus WLM is that links in Emails actually seem to work.

Hi Bryan,

Hmmm. All of the functions you mentioned can be easily accomplished in TB. I just had to learn where the settings are found. As for jumping between folders, there is a "Unified Folders" view which groups together all the inboxes, drafts, sent, and trash into a shared view. Under that is the global Outbox. Under this are the specific account folders which can be expanded to reveal each particular account's folders as above. And below these is your message store. I find TB much more responsive than WLM, and the message window, which had been giving me major cursor tracking issues, runs beautifully in TB. Importing messages from WLM is pretty easy, and TB checks your ISP to set up your e-mail account automatically. Hey, I only switched to TB because WLM was driving me crazy. If WLM works for you, there's no point switching really, although I have found some significant improvements when addressing messages to multiple recipients, and I am able to respond to people individually or to the whole list as I choose very easily. I couldn't do this with WLM. I'm very happy with TB. I'm bound to advertize. Smile.

All the best,

Rod
