Hi Morné,

Assuming you are running the latest version of Outlook Enhance, another
question is do you have the Microsoft Outlook Social Connector add-in
enabled? We have seen situations where this add-in steals focus in Outlook
and causes Window-Eyes to see the current window as a web browser type
object which then makes Window-Eyes treat the active window like a web page.
I also wanted to clarify that Control-1 is an Outlook keyboard shortcut and
not a Window-Eyes hotkey. You can also use Control-2 for Calendar,
Control-3 for Contacts, etc.

Thanks,

Marc Solomon

Subject: strange behaviour of Outlook 2010

Hello list,

I run Windows 7 64 bit, Office 2010. Today, when I opened Outlook, it opened
like a web page with links. I went to my list of emails with the Window-eyes
command, which is Control-1. That takes me back to my list of messages.

However, when I try to close a message with the escape key, the same happens
– I get a number of links which I can use to perform certain tasks on that
particular message. The escape key no longer takes me back to my list of
messages.

Any advice please?

Regards

Morné
