My understanding, was that the 32-bit systems, still install software in the
Program Files folder, whilst the 64-bit systems, installs in an X86 folder.
If this is correct, opening the Windows Explorer, then open your C: drive,
and arrow through the entries, if you have a folder named something like
X86, you should be on a 64-bit version. Arrest me, anyone, if I am wrong in
this impression.

Subject: windows 8 question
Hello, can anyone tell me a speech friendly way to determine if a windows 8
computer is 32 bit or 64 bit? One set of instructions I found explained how
to do it by tapping the screen, but that obviously won't work when you can't
see what you are tapping. Smile. I appreciate any help.
Butch
