Hi:

I routinely work with two screen readers, Window-Eyes and Cobra. This has been a great arrangement for some time.

However, Suddenly it seems the case that Window-Eyes often thinks it is running when it is not. Here is a scenario:

1. Boot up the computer. Cobra comes up as the default screen reader.

2. Use the computer for a while.

3. Shutdown Cobra and open Window-Eyes. WE gives the message that it is already running.

This does not always happen, and right after a boot if I immediately shutdown Cobra and open WE it usually will cooperate.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Chris
