Hi Brice,

Thanks for your suggestion of covering web mail as a future webinar topic.
I am a bit hesitant to commit to this topic for a number of reasons. First,
because there are so many different email providers used by our customers,
it would not be possible to cover all of the web mail systems that are being
used. Second, because these solutions are web based, the user interfaces
are being constantly updated which would make a presentation on the topic
become obsolete very quickly. In addition, most web mail systems are not
the most user friendly interfaces for accessing email especially when
compared to stand alone email clients like Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows
Live Mail and Becky. This is because they do not use standard Windows
controls and often lack keyboard accessibility. This is why I personally
recommend the use of a standalone email client because if you learn how to
complete a task, you can be confident that the technique will continue to
work as long as you use the program. I do not want to rule out the idea of
conducting a webinar on this topic and would be interested to know which
specific web mail systems people are most interested in learning how to use
and why the web mail interface is preferable over a standalone email client.

Thanks,

Marc
