hi,
i reported this bug last month and i have confirmed the same problem
with another w e 8.2 user that is useing windows 8
i am useing windows 7 and 8 too.
maybe i can explain the problem better this time.
i want to turn off the reading of web pages with firefox and i e. but
not for any of the other set files.
this will not work.
when you go to verbocity/browse mode/new page information.
the factory default is set to global and read the first 24 lines.
but if i change it to program mode and change it to speak nothing the
page is still spoken. no matter which of the three settings i use.
it is useing the settings that are being used when it is in global mode.
i have to go back to global, change it to speak nothing. then switch
back to program mode. then nothing will be spoken no matter which of
the three options are used.
this is why i say in program mode it is useing the global settings.
the problem is all the set files will be silent with it set this way.
so i have to put up with the factory defaults and press the control
key to shut it up every time for firefox and i e.
hope i explained it better.
