I also have this issue. GW addressed it in 8.2. They improved it but it
still happens. I have three vocalizer voices and it happens with all of
them.

Hi there.
I just installed the samantha compact voice on my computer because I
like the reading voice. However, if I'm doing a read to end, it stops
reading after, oh, I'd say a paragraph, maybe a page. But when I press
the up or down arrows it goes back to the place where the cursor started
at. Even if I press escape, it just sits there for a second and then
goes back to the cursor's position. I tried it in word, firefox, and
notepad all with the same results. anyone else have this issue?
