For me, read-to-end seems to hang on multiple blank lines. two or more causes
the behavior. Trouble is, it doesn’t always hang on multiple blank lines but
for me, every time it does hang, it’s on multiple blanks.

well good thing I'm not the only one, but it's very frustrating. I'm running a
quadcore with 16gb of ram, so it's not a resource issue. But it's hard to read
to end when you have no idea where you're reading because the speech goes
silent and your cursor is left at the place where you started reading toward
this illusive end. There's nothing to change in a .ini file or .inf file to
stop this strange happening?

I also have this issue. GW addressed it in 8.2. They improved it but it still
happens. I have three vocalizer voices and it happens with all of them.

  Hi there.

I just installed the samantha compact voice on my computer because I
like the reading voice. However, if I'm doing a read to end, it stops
reading after, oh, I'd say a paragraph, maybe a page. But when I press
the up or down arrows it goes back to the place where the cursor started
at. Even if I press escape, it just sits there for a second and then
goes back to the cursor's position. I tried it in word, firefox, and
notepad all with the same results. anyone else have this issue?
