Mark, Here's a table I created in Word 2003 with the issue. Sorry for the delay in getting this sample to you. Additional notes are captured in the document. Another person on the list noted having this issue, too.

I just created a simple two by two table in Word 2010 and populated each cell with a three digit number. When I Tab through the table, Window-Eyes accurately reports the number and does not say bell at the end. Can you email the document that you can duplicate this behavior in to [email protected] so we can investigate? Thanks, Marc Subject: Odd verbosity thing in Word tables From: [email protected] Date: Tue, 2 Jul 2013 10:57:33 -0600 Hi all, I just noticed an odd thing when navigating tables in Word using WE 8.2. This is occurring both at work running Word 2003 and at home running Word 2010. If I tab between cells in the table, WE reads the contents followed by what sounds like the word "bell". So if the cell contains the number 333, WE will read "333 bell". It doesn't do it when the cell is blank. Anyone familiar with this and know what is causing it? I have a few apps loaded, but I have them turned off and the oddity is still occurring. I definitely did not notice this on WE 7.2. Just know that I went from WE 7.2 to WE 8.2 on my work computer recently and that's when I noticed the "bell" thing here.
