Also, I just had a problem where someone sent me a message but SocialEyes
didn't pick it up, and also sometimes when it says there are unread
messages, when I go into the messages dialog, it says there are no messages.

Oops, I've found out just now that I had the display read notifications
option checked, so just unchecking the box sorted it out.  However, the
other problems are still present.
