In the verbosity> Browse> links property page, you will find the speak the
word link combo box. You must have yours currently set to never. The other
two choices are before name and after name.

Subject: Freezing When Encountering Email Message Links

Every time I open a message that includes HTML links, WE 8.2 freezes for 15
or 20 seconds whenever it encounters a link while I am reading the message a
line at a time. If I use the read-to-end feature, WE does not freeze at
all. But sometimes, it's helpful to be able to arrow through a message in a
more granular fashion than read-to-end allows.

The only way I can tell when WE unfreezes after encountering a link is to
constantly tap the caps lock key. When WE finally says "caps lock on" or
"off" as the case may be, then I know I can tap down-arrow again to have WE
read the next line.

I think I've turned off the speaking of actual links--not the use of the
word "link" but the speaking of actual addresses in Window-Eyes, but I may
have a problem with that somewhere. Can't remember where that is in
verbosity.
