My first notebook and trying to learn the keyboard. Turned on key describer " Insert 1" heard the phrase key describer but it will not do anything. I am in Outlook 2010. I am using Windows 7. Is there a problem with what I am doing, or is there another way to do this. I am new to all of these - Windows 7, notebooks, and when I try to read the My Dell information WE will not read anything on those pages. Half the time WE will stop running altogether. I have installed and uninstalled 3 times already and the last time was with a sighted person to make sure I had all settings correct. I do, and it reads well on IE, and other things I have started to find. After I close a program, I will start another one and WE will talk for a few minutes and then stop and all I can do is shut down with "alt F4, shut down, start again and when I start up I get the error report. I am waiting for my update to come which was supposed to be here but was delivered to a completely different address and has to be re-shipped. My biggest concern is trying to learn this keyboard and the key describer will not work, so is there some setting I need to change somewhere, please help.
