First, I recommend that you update to the latest edition of Firefox
which is 24.0 as of today. There were significant problems with version
20 that Mozilla corrected in 21 and up.
If you are already at version 24, then I next recommend going into the
add-ons manager found in the Tools menu and remove anything you don't
need (e.g. extra search bars, adware, etc).
If the crashes continue, then please let us know the steps to follow in
order to reproduce them, and we can investigate further.
