It may well have to do with IE or Firefox security settings. It may be necessary to reset your settings to the defaults. Even if you haven't knowingly changed your settings, I know they sometimes do get changed. Your antivirus program settings may cause this, too. However, I haven't found them to be a problem. Occasionally,my antivirus program will flag a file with a warning. Usually, the warning can be overridden. Good luck.

Hi Gang,

I hope this is the right place for this question.  All of a sudden
when I try to download something I get the message "current security
settings don't allow this file to be downloaded."  I encountered it
on BARD and thought it was an NLS problem, but I tried downloading
something on another website and got the same message.  Any ideas as
to where I can find and fix the problem?
