Unfortunately, I am having similar problems as netbat, but not as severe. It looks like the keyboard is not mapping itself right. But I tried two other screen readers--NVDA being one of them. Wordpad, Windows Live Mail 2012, Notepad, for example, have no insert or back space keys. The back space key becomes a space. If you try and delete a character, when you back space you hear:
Space But assuming it deleted the character, you try to fix your error, and it spaces two characters beyond what you supposedly deleted. I cannot read what I write. I cannot read a message continuously, hitting the read to end key. The list seems to go on and on. Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit version. If I put Window-Eyes 7.5.4.1 back in, it's ten tiems worse. I'm running the 8.3 demo right now.
