Thanks.  For me the checkbox is not working, and yet Flash Player install
says that (at last) it finished successfully.  I found Ie's save/run
options.  Presumably, I can go and uninstall Chrome without undoing Flash
Player.

OK, what I did was to go to that ie page and uncheck the box which wants to
install google crome and it worked fine -- just be careful and you should be
fine.  I am also using ie11.
