From the website Aaron linked to:
Vocalizer Expressive
Text-to-speech with personality
Vocalizer Expressive is an embedded text-to-speech solution that
provides enhanced expressivity for more natural sounding speech in a
variety of applications and technologies.
Hence the Expressive name. There's no information about Window-Eyes on
their site because they are the voice developers and anyone who wants to
integrate their voices into a program can do so. That's their business,
selling those voices be it to a screen-reader developer, an automated
phone system developer, etc.

Hi Aaron,
I looked at the link you provided.
It talks lots about the synth in general including driving applications (Not
much for the blind there) and they even have a disability page that says
nothing about window eyes.
I tried to summarize for the list what I found out when calling GW support
and sales.
Do you have any more details to add?
Thanks,
Sam

You could always go to the horse's mouth, so to speak, to get the
specifics of what this synthesizer offers:

Hi All,
Vocalizer (Window-Eyes)
Vocalizer Expressive (Window-Eyes)
They are two different synthisizers.
They are made by the same company and are both $59 to purchase.
The expressive is only different in that these voices add the ability to
change pitch according to GW Tech Support.
If you purchased the Vocalizer (Window-Eyes) some time ago as I did there
is
no upgrade to the Vocalizer (Window-Eyes) expressive version.
I am not sure why they are considered different if only the ability to
change pitch is added but, I am sure it's a requirement of the company
licensing the voices in some way.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sam

Hi Casey,
It would be a good idea to read the Readme in the Help menu to find out
what
is new. eSpeak is free and so is the Microsoft Speech Platform, which
both
work with Window-Eyes now. Additionally, we added Vocalizer Expressive,
which are the latest synthesizers. The older versions were called
Vocalizer. So, Vocalizer Expressive are the latest and they are sold for
a
fee. Please refer to www.gwmicro.com/catalog or call the Orders
Department
at 260-489-3671 for pricing.

Hi the vocalizer voices they you are talking about in this latest upgrade
message?
Are these newer versions of the vocalizer voices?
Because I have the ones that I wanted down loaded from when I purchased
when
you first got the vocalizer voices.
So do anymore new voice come with this latest window-eyes upgrade?
If so can you tell me what they are and if they are free or you have to
purchase them?
Now if you have to purchase any of them what is the cost of the voices
that
you have to purchase?
