Hi all, I went to Alt and Help then arrowed down to About then I see serial number, dealer information , visit website, visit a dealer, etc but could not find my current version so I askied my friend who told me that I have 8.3 so how do I find my current version without asking a sighted person. He told me that the version number is on the top before serial number.

You had the right idea. After opening the Window-eyes control panel, find the help option. From there up or down arrow until you find the words about dialog and press enter.
