Dennis, I'll try, but you should read the manual on exception dictionaries; they're a very nice feature of WE, and you'll be glad to know about them.
Go to the WE control panel, to the treeview, and arrow down to "dictionaries". Open it up, and arrow down to the "exception" dictionary. Tab over to the list of entries and arrow down through them and see if you come to one for "rd" (it may say "road"). If so, press alt-r to remove it, and then alt-s to save your settings.
