Hi all,
Someone recently asked me for help on use of the WE dictionary features, and mentioned he'd like some sort of tutorial on them so that he could learn to use them better. I'm not a dictionary guru, so I asked the always helpful people at GW. They reminded me that in Window-Eyes version 8, they've added a menu option; It's under the help menu, under the documentation submenu, there's now a link for training resources. This takes you to a page where you can investigate both their paid classes and free tutorials and webinars. I am not sure why the tutorials are separated from the webinars, but both seem to be free, and most of the recent sessions seem to be on the webinars page. Here I did indeed find several sessions on WE dictionaries, as well as a whole wealth of topics from ITunes to Dropbox to Windows 8 to browsing the web. The direct url is: http://www.gwmicro.com/Training/Webinar_Training/ Or choose the webinar link from the training page. Hope this helps the next time you have a question, Chip If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only. If your reply would benefit others on the list and your message is related to GW Micro, then please consider sending your message to [email protected] so the entire list will receive it.
