Hi,

Removing the ribbon in windows explorer and replacing wordpad is an advanced
task I grant you. That being said there is a step buy step guide on how to
do this on the web. If you really want to do it just follow the step buy
step directions.

As for installing the programs this is just nonsense. If you were capable
of installing window-eyes in the first place then you would be capable of
installing classic menu for office or youbetmenu to help you deal with the
ribbon in Microsoft office. You could then install a program like classic
shell. The first time after you press the start button it asks what kind of
a start menu you want. You select the one from the radio button and click
ok. If you want to fine tune it you have that option. The installations for
all these programs are standard installations. Assumeing that you are going
to need a tech to update your computer then at that point you could ask him
to install these programs. Any tech warth anything can perform a simple
install he might not know of the programs but once you ask for them buy name
he can google them read the information and install them in about five
minits. As I said removing the ribbon from windows explorer and replacing
wordpad so you don't have the ribbon might be an advance task the rest of
this stuff no sorry doesn't fly.

To add to David's comments here, not everyone is expert enough to install
such apps or programs on their own. You have a wide variety of users in
this community from beginners to advanced. You Jim G. may be an advanced
user but not all of us are.
