Well I have figured out that the problem is a video issue. I updated my video driver and no dice. My driver was quite out of date but it was working fine so I never bother to update it. it is now updated to the latest one from the AMD drivers page. I then tried reinstalling window-eyes. well I will have to do that again simply because I did not have my cd handy so I just used the free option to see if a reinstall would solve my problem. No dice there. I then tried disabeling the window-eyes video driver. I know I know not a good move or a move for the fain of heart. Guess what after I did that everything works fine with GoldWave and window-eyes. accept of course no video driver to use to update the set files. Well at least thought this might give you a place to look at.
Well I m off to track down my window-eyes cd to get my trusty dectalk working again. Btw the window-eyes for office is cool. Works good and is easy to install. Keep the good stuff coming. I just wish I could finely once and for all figure out this gold wave issue so I can update the set files. Then I could use gold wave with my favorites screen reader. Thanks for reading.
