I've managed to get a bit done with ITunes despite myself. The IPod
connected to the computer showed up, and I got some music onto
it. However, when I plug in either of our IPhone 5's, the devices do
not show up at all. I want to put some ringtones I made with IRinger
onto the phones, but I can't find how to do it. I thought maybe
there was an icon I could get to with the mouse and click on that
might give me an option not on the buttons I can tab to. All I get
when trying to move the mouse pointer around the screen, however, is
ding ding ding.
Also, I tried to read the help, but it said I needed to enable
JAVA. No idea how to do this. Trying to accomplish stuff in ITunes
has been extremely frustrating.
By the way, I went through every option on the IPhone to see if
there's something blocking it from connecting to the computer, but I
can't find anything that sounds like that.
I even thought that there might be something in ITunes where I could
send the ringers to our ICloud account, but can't find anything like
that either.
Any ideas would be most appreciated, and thanks ever so much to all
those who got me this far.
