Hi Rick,
I don't have any IOS devices, but, in Winamp, if you press Alt-L, you
open or switch to the Media Library. If you happen to be in browse mode
when you enter it, just press Control-Shif-A to leave browse mode.
You'll then be in a tree view, where you can do all kinds of cool
things. One of the nodes in the tree view is Devices, and your device
should appear there. With some experimentation, the entire Media
Library is pretty accessible.

I had no idea Winamp could do this. Can you describe briefly how this
could be done using Winamp?

Hi Marilyn,
Were you aware that Winamp and Windows Media Player can sink IOS
devices, Winamp right out of the box, and WMP with a paid plugin?

I've managed to get a bit done with ITunes despite myself. The IPod
connected to the computer showed up, and I got some music onto it.
However, when I plug in either of our IPhone 5's, the devices do not
show up at all. I want to put some ringtones I made with IRinger onto
the phones, but I can't find how to do it. I thought maybe there was
an icon I could get to with the mouse and click on that might give me
an option not on the buttons I can tab to. All I get when trying to
move the mouse pointer around the screen, however, is ding ding ding.
Also, I tried to read the help, but it said I needed to enable JAVA.
No idea how to do this. Trying to accomplish stuff in ITunes has been
extremely frustrating.
By the way, I went through every option on the IPhone to see if
there's something blocking it from connecting to the computer, but I
can't find anything that sounds like that.
I even thought that there might be something in ITunes where I could
send the ringers to our ICloud account, but can't find anything like
that either.
Any ideas would be most appreciated, and thanks ever so much to all
those who got me this far.
Marilyn
