I can't give any specifics on your problem, but want to let the group know
that once in a while, when I download from bard, the download stops around
the 20 to 30 percent mark and I cannot restart it. I have to hit cancel and
start again. The bard site is the only site that gives me this odd
behavior. I thought it was happening because of the old computer I had, but
I got a more recent one, though using xp right now, and the occasional
problem still occurs on bard only with this newer machine.
Just letting you know about this in case it may have a baring on your
problem.

Subject: Bard download problems
On my Windows 7 64-bit system, I have problems downloading books. No
problem locating the book or finding the download link. But when I click
on that link, seemingly nothing happens. Incidentally, the browser is I E
11 and Window-eyes version is 8.4. When I press control J, the desired
download is not listed. I wonder if I need to change the security
settings in I E 11. If so, please tell me step by step how to do this.
Thanks.
Don Roberts
