Hi Nolan,

Although Window-Eyes is not reading the way you want, I only wanted to
say that Window-Eyes could be made to behave the way you want through an
app. It would simply be a matter of analyzing the web page events
taking place, and have them spoken. I'm slowly learning this wonderful
world of accessibility enhancement. I just wanted to say: don't give up
on Window-Eyes. The other screen readers that are working for you on
this page take things for granted and so speak more right off the bat.
This just means that Window-Eyes doesn't take things for granted so
easily; funtionally, this is sometimes a disadvantage, but Window-Eyes
can be programmed to do anything any other screen reader can do. Maybe
this doesn't help you, but you deserve an explanation, and so I'm
offering one.

All the best,

Rod

Yes, this isn’t a punctuation issue, but because of my unclear writing
yesterday, I can understand how you might see it that way. The site seems to
actually spell out the word “stars” in the rating section, so punctuation would
make no difference.

My apologies for the clumsy explanation yesterday.
