Hello All, I am new to Window Eyes and have the following questions.
1. How do I turn off styles? For example, whenever I open a word document or a new message in Outlook, Window Eyes tells me the style and layout of the page or message. How do I turn this off? 2. At the top and bottom of Word documents, Outlook Messages, and web pages, Window Eyes reads "top" and "bottom". Is there a way to turn this feature off? 3. When I go to a website, Window Eyes will read "security report" and proceed to tell me how many links, headings ETC. there are on the page. Is there a way to turn this off? I do not need such verbose descriptions when I visit a website. 4. When I use control plus shift plus R in Outlook to reply to all, Window Eyes will sometimes not open up a message to reply to all. I know that this is a Window Eyes issue because when I use JAWS or System Access, I do not have this problem. What could be the problem here as some times the reply all command works and sometimes, it does not when using Window Eyes. 5. Is there a way to speed up or slow down speech on the fly? 6. When I do a spell check in Word or Outlook, how do I get Window Eyes to read the word in question and it's suggestions? Currently, when I hit F7 to enter spell check, Window Eyes does not read anything. 7. Is there a way to make Window Eyes read words differently? For example, the word "it's" Window Eyes reads as "it apostrophe s" How do I get Window Eyes to read "it's" as just "its"? I have the same problem with words like didn't, shouldn't and wasn't. Is there a way to not have Window Eyes say "apostrophe" in the middle of said word? Thank you in advance for all your help.
