Dear all,
As the subject states, the query is possibly off topic for the list
and I apologise in for the intrusion. However, I am as it were at my
wits' end with the problem and would be most grateful if any of you
could point me in the right direction.
Of late, Windows explorer has been freezing with increasing frequency
when switching between folders. I have installed various updates and
patches from Microsoft but so far none has born any tangible
effect. I don't know if this is a problem triggered by Window-Eyes,
or some other extraneous factor.
I am already contemplating the daunting task of reformatting the HD
but I would like to keep the option as a last resort.
