Hi gerardo:
As you may know, Browse Mode allows you to do this.  You can press
shift-down arrow until you get to the end of the article to select it.

A more general method is to use the Virtual View script, which is
activate by pressing control-alt-v.  This brings up a virtual copy of
the current window or the focused window so you can select some or all
of the contents of that window and then you can cut or paste or
whatever you want.
