If you are trying to change the default reminder time for every new appointment
or meeting you create, here's the place. Go to File, then Options. When you
open the dialog, arrow right twice to the Calendar tab. Tab through till you
come to the checkbox for Default reminders. That's the option to mark to turn
them on. The next tab over is where you set the actual time you want. Window
Eyes says rich edit because you can either treat the box like a drop down box
and pick from one of the suggested times or you can type in your own time. I
think defaults start at 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, but you could type
in 12 minutes, for example.

Hit OK and it should be set for you.

Subject: changing the default reminder time in outlook 2010 calendar

I've tried everything I can think of to change the reminder tome for my Outlook
2010 Calendar appointments. I can't find a setting to do it; I've tried editing
the "15 minutes" in the rich text edit box. No luck. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks.
