There are several online fax service providers. Most require a monthly fee for x-number of faxes that you can send and receive. Two examples that come to mind are:

www.myfax.com

www.efax.com

I'm sure that a Google search will generate many more.

With these services, you can get a fax number in any area code of your choice.

If you can save the documents you want to fax as a .PDF file, all you'll need to do is to send the PDF document as an attachment via E-mail to a specified fax number. For example, if you choose MyFax, the address you'll use for sending the fax is something like this:

[email protected]

Then attach the document and press the send button.
