I’ve been using Windows Live Mail on my new Windows 7 laptop with WE 8.4 since
Monday. No problems so far, but admittedly it’s very early days yet.

Hi Stephen,

I would have to say that Windows Live Mail should be removed from the list of
email clients which work well with Window-Eyes, since even Aaron on the
occasion of a remote session on my system couldn't figure out why Window-Eyes
stopped tracking my edit cursor, necessitating my moving to Thunderbird.

hth,

Rod

  Hello,

Please note that neither Microsoft nor GW Micro will provide any support for
this hack. Several email clients exist today which work very well with Windows
7 including Windows Live Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, and Becky.

  Steve

    Hi Gary & Rod,

    Check this out:
I'm not sure if I mentioned this earlier in this thread or not but a
buddy of mine found out that somebody has figured out a way to make
Outlook Express work in Windows 7, and apparently 8 as well. I
installed OE earlier today and sent a test message to myself and it
does work, and the link to the page with the info about it is

    http://www.rafailb.tk/index.php?itemid=27
    in case others want to

check it out. The only problem is, and it's something my buddy
mentioned but I haven't experienced it because I've only had OE open
once, apparently it asks you to enter your e-mail account password
every time you open the program and go to connect.

    Take care.
    Mike
