The synonym for the Applications key is Shift-F10. I just answered that same
question at work a couple of days ago! I guess companies are removing keys
right and left!

Subject: Re: Windows 8.1 controls

Hi Guys:
OK, my new keyboard doesnt have an applications key, sigh - going for a third
one any suggestions?
Also I managed to find where I could view and install the windows updates but
unlike in xp there was nothing displayed to tell me the status while they were
downloading and installing nor when they were done.
Any decent way of installing updates where you know what is going on?
Also, I did a search on a file "iexplore" and the results were nothing - could
have not been done searching or could have been done, how would I tell?
I know it is a good file since I ran it in the run box.
Then I thought it might be a hidden file or folder but cant figure out how to
set the folder settings to show the Microsoft or hidden files and folders, any
clue where these settings might be?
Thanks:
