Greetings all, Just wanted to pop in, since some folks were having trouble with Window-Eyes and Google Products, particularly with the Google Groups one.
Firstly, in order to use the new google groups effectively with WE, browse mode must be turned off. Secondly, make sure you are using Explorer, as firefox sadly does not work. Some of the keyboard shortcuts are: G then L: Go to a list of all your groups you are a member of. You can either type n the group ya want, or tab to them, and WE will speak the group's name. Once ya find it, press enter. You'll land in the convo list now... use j and k to go down and up the list respectively. To hear the 1st item, as WE may not read it at 1st go to the second item with j, thenk back up to the 1st one with k. O: open the convo. While in side the conversation, "O" also expands the current post you are on, reading it automaticly. N: Jump to next post. P: Jump to previous post. A: Reply to focused post. H: Collapse/expand Navigation tree. Question Mar: Display All Keyboard Shortcuts for Google Groups. At any time, you can turn brows mode back on of course, to read messages indetail, or the keyboard shortcuts, which are in a table. I hope all this helps. PS. Not that there are similar keyboard short cuts for Hangouts, gMail, and Google Plus as wel, and for the many other google products, thoug your results will vary. Best screen reader with all Google products, is using "ChromeVox." Note that some of the documentation say control-alt as the chromevox key.
