Thanks for this suggestion again. It sounds a lot like Treepad Lite, the two pane part anyway, but it also sounds like it might have some features that the free light version does not have. I will install it to compare.

I tried getting the free trial of Scrivener, but the installer seems to be inaccessible which does not bode well for the application itself. I might go ahead and get sighted assistance to find out if the application is more accessible. I have gotten raves about the program from several Mac users who love it and they are working on an iPad and iPhone version.
