The rewrite would have been a good way to launch the new arrangements with AI 
Squared.

Loyal users and owners of licences have been very patient and frustrated.

Still: patience is a virtue and competition amongst screen readers is a good 
thing.

GW said more than 6 years ago that browse mode was broken and needed a rewrite.
