Hi Donald,

I would only add that you must use Control-S to
save this setting; this will make it permanent.
The assumption here is that the Scope for the
setting in question is set to Global, not Program.

Hth,

Rod

with firefox its the scripts running in the
background that keeps redrawing
the screen and causeing the browse mode buffer to
dump and reload the page.
***
go to verbocity/browse mode /autoload and turn off
form interaction. then
browse mode will not keep turning on and off
automatically as you move down
the page.

Subject: Browse mode frustrations

Regardless of whether I use Firefox or Internet
Explorer, I find it
extremely frustrating to navigate some web pages
when W E 8.4 is
constantly turning Browse mode on and off, despite
the fact that I have
turned auto load off. Please tell me if there is
a truly reliable
solution to this problem, not some partial
solution.

Thanks.
