Hi Rod, No it isn't a recent thing, I've only been using Outlook since Sunday and Window Eyes has never identified read or unread. The only changes I've made to the view are the ones recommended by GWMicro.

Hi Yusuf,

Is this a recent occurrence for you? If so,
perhaps you changed your view settings. Resetting
these can be a bit complicated. Alt-V brings up
the View tab in the main Outlook window. In this
tab, there is a Reset button if it's not disabled.
If it is, it is possible to reset using other
methods, but see what you find.

Hth,

Rod

read messages

Cheers for the suggestion Brendon, I've looked in
both group by and sort
by and although I've tried various options, none
of them had the
required effect. I'm still not being told read
before read messages and
unread before unread ones.

Hello,

ALT+V to the view menu, then tab once and you
will find the view settings, go
in there and it will be under sort by or group
by. Give this a try and report
back. Thank you.

Subject: An Outlook 2013 question unread and
read messages

Hi, I'm just working through the second of
Marc's excellent Webinars on
using Outlook 2013 with Window Eyes, however
unlike his version, mine
isn't saying read and unread messages when I'm
cursoring up and down the
list of messages. What do I need to do to sort
this? I seem to remember
in the past having to label the graphics, but of
course I can't remember
how to do this. Any help would be gratefully
received. Outlook 2013 and
latest version of WE. I'm running the Outlook
Enhanced App.
Cheers
Yusuf
