Hello Bob, On your desktop machine, open up Google, move to the top of the page, and Down Arrow until you hear something like, "screen reader users, click here to turn off Google Instant." Press Enter, and the page should act like it used to. Alternatively, visit www.google.com/preferences, check the radio button which says, "never show instant results,", and press the "Save" button.
