With a SAPI synth you may have to set the sound card Windows uses for
speech. This is because we cannot select the output device for SAPI
synths in the WE control panel as we can with synths supported directly
by Window-Eyes, e.g. Eloquence, DecTalk, Vocalizer. Here's how it's done
in Windows 7.
1. Open the Windows control panel.
2. go to Speech recognition, then Text to speech.
3. Tab to the Advanced button and press spacebar.
4. Change the radio button from Use preferred audio device to Use this
audio device.
Tab once and select the device you want SAPI speech to use.
5. Tab to OK and hit spacebar. Do the same again. Then close the control
panel.

Hi all,
I am using SAPI-compliant Arabic voices from the Acapela Infovox 4.0
platform with Window-Eyes V8.4, using a Logitech Bluetooth headphone. The
problem is that Acapela Sapi-compliant voices insist to be aired through the
built-in PC sound card, whereas all other sounds go through the Logitech
Bluetooth headset. This is in spite of the fact that I set up The Logitech
Bluetooth headset as my default sound card.
Is there any workaround for this issue?
Thank you.
