Hi Jim,
Manually modifying the Microsoft service:
1. Press Windows-R to open the Windows Run dialog, and enter "services.msc"
followed
                by Enter.
2. Tab to the list of services, and locate the "Office Software Protection
Platform"
entry.
3. Press the Applications key to open a context menu, and select "start" if
the service is not running.
4. Go back into the context menu with the Applications key and select
"properties."
5. Change the startup type from "manual" to "automatic."
6. Close the dialog.
7. Restart Window-Eyes.
Chris
PS
If you have followed these steps before, follow them again. I have seen it on
some systems where the service gets set back to manual. Seems to happen after
Windows updates.

Subject: Window-Eyes starting in demonstration mode.

Hi Folks:

I am using WE with Office 2013 and every time I start the computer, WE runs in
demonstration mode. It is necessary for me to unload and reload WE to prevent
this from happening.

Is there a way to resolve this problem?

Thanks all over the place.
