Hello everyone,
When you first install Window-Eyes, assuming you didn't change
anything, and simply selected the quick install option, will
Window-Eyes automatically detect that your computer is setup so that
you have to login an automatically read the login screen? The computer
I'm using to type this message to you, is not password protected.
Therefore, when I turn it on, windows starts up all by itself without
me having to do anything. Windows starts, then shortly afterwards,
Window-Eyes launches automatically. However, on my new computer which
is running windows 8.1, I'll have to type in a username and password
before I can use the desktop. Usually when I install Window-Eyes, I
generally select the quick install option. So I'm just wondering, if
when I install Window-Eyes on the 8.1 machine, even if I select the
quick install, at the point of the installation where we're asked to
reboot, once the machine does so, will Window-Eyes detect the login
screen and automatically read it so that I'll be able to type in my
username and password with speech? Thanks.
