Hello Vaughan:
As one who has depended on Window-Eyes for my somewhat gainful employment
situation, I am a bit scared as to whether or not Window-Eyes is still a
major contender in the screen reader arena.
In my wee, small business, I am required to submit claims for payment and
adjudication. Using Window-Eyes with IE11 or IE8, I can't get the mouse to
focus on a particular client whose claim I need to submit for processing.
It is a reason why I still keep Window-Eyes 7.2 around at least in a Window
XP Professional box.
On my laptop, the only computer I have running Windows7 Professional,
Window-Eyes takes too long to start or shut down. I don't know if I am
disappointed, but I am certainly worried that I may have to begin
considering switching screen readers, something I'd rather not do!
Sincerely,
Olusegun
Denver, Colorado
