Hey guys,
For some unknown reason, i am having sudden thunderbird lockup issues.
Here's what's going on. First of all, is there any sort of mailbox
repair? That's the first thing taht omes to mind.
I'll get a bunch of messages in my inbox, and after i go through them,
hit control A as i have always done to select them all, then hit delete.
This is when the slowness start. It use to just get rid of them
instantly, now it seems to just slow down the computer.
I will eventually do an alt tab to get back to the program, and it says
inbox mozilla thunderbird, then it says this thing, task switching.
At this point, when i tab, it's like i have nothing on the screen. It
takes anywhere from 20 to 46 seconds roughly as i timed it, for the
program to come back to focus. This has never happened before. I did a
malware scan, and had 51 instances of malware on the machine, but it's
still doing it. Anything else i should do?
