A couple of weeks ago I sent out a request regarding what I believed to
be an Adobe Reader problem when Reader appeared to come up silent.
Several of you offered suggestions which i tried to use and I very much
appreciate. It turns out that according to the tech folks at the
university for which I work there is a PDF reader that is a part of
Microsoft Office 2013 and it was that reader that was trying to process
my PDFs. One of the technicians reconfigured things so that Adobe is
now the reader of choice and everything works fine. Thanks to several
of you who offered suggestions.
