With respect to the Braille Edge: it matches with Window-eyes far more efficiently and reliably than does the Focus. The most significant shortcoming is that the hot key labels are incorrect. However - most (if not all) can be assigned as you might prefer, and direct computer braille input is possible without too much fuss. The focus is a tragedy amongst braille displays in my book. It has so much potential to actually be the best possible display from amongst the ones I know about, but it has been the victim of company rivalry and competition rather than the trail blazer for improved braille support regardless of screen reader.
